Working environment

The software-based engineering test environment has been restored on Windows. This describes the state of the working environment; it is not a physical test result or confirmation that every component is correct.

Hydrostatic calculations

Hydrostatic calculations have been cross-checked using an independent method. The results of that cross-check agree within numerical precision.

This finding indicates consistency between the calculations compared. It does not establish the completeness of the assumptions, the validity of all models or the vessel's behaviour at sea. An independent calculation method is not equivalent to an independent review of the entire project.

What remains unconfirmed

• The final weight statement and centre of gravity have not been established.
• Overall structural strength has not been validated.
• The dynamic stability assessment is incomplete.
• Resistance and vessel performance assessments are incomplete.
• Sea trials and full-scale testing have not been confirmed.

Limits of the conclusion

Agreement between hydrostatic calculations is not proof of the vessel's fitness for service, safety, seaworthiness or readiness for construction. No certification is claimed.
